*Therapy Services*
Starting therapy can feel like a vulnerable step — whether you’re reaching out for yourself, your child, or your family. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely helpful from the start.
I believe people come to therapy not because something is wrong with them, but because life can become overwhelming and the tools they were given simply aren’t enough for what they’re facing now. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, better understand yourself or your child, and learn practical ways to navigate challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, parenting stress, life transitions, and grief. My approach is warm, practical, creative, and collaborative — balancing emotional support with real-world strategies that clients can use outside of session.
Creativity and play are important parts of my work, especially with children and teens. I frequently incorporate play-based and art therapy tools to help clients express feelings, build coping skills, and engage in therapy in ways that feel natural rather than pressured. Humor and play can often make difficult work feel safer and more approachable, while still allowing for meaningful growth.
In addition to my general clinical work, I have experience supporting emotional first responders experiencing secondary traumatic stress, as well as individuals and families navigating the impact of childhood medical trauma. This background informs my trauma-aware approach and deep respect for the ways stress and adversity can affect both individuals and family systems over time.
Clients often experience therapy with me as conversational, engaging, and gently honest. I believe growth happens when people feel both supported and appropriately challenged, and I strive to meet each client with curiosity, respect, and authenticity.
I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping clients understand patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building skills for emotional regulation, communication, and resilience.
I provide in-person therapy in El Dorado Hills and telehealth services throughout California, allowing flexibility to meet clients where they feel most comfortable.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you or your child feel understood, capable, and supported in taking meaningful steps forward — even when life feels uncertain.

Some things to know about therapy:
It’s for everyone at anytime of life. We set goals and things to focus on, but it doesn’t mean you have to be in-crisis or “deeply broken” in order to want to come to therapy. Sometimes we just need an emotional check-up!
I take many kinds of insurance and have a sliding pay scale. We try our hardest to make therapy accessible to as many people as we can.
It starts with a call. The first step is to have a brief conversation where I hear about what kind of help you are looking for. This is very important to making sure we are the right fit for each other. This is not a therapy session, and is completely free.
